The Yard in Maidenhead, a workplace that brings together the people, spaces and processes behind the British watchmaker’s business.
Working alongside Curve Workplaces and the wider project team, we helped bring the client’s vision to life through a considered furniture specification, combining distinctive designs, quality materials and practical solutions for a variety of working environments.
The selection includes FSC-certified wooden tables from Boss Design, Lola soft seating from Workstories upholstered in Camira’s Sumi fabric, a Parthos table from NARBUTAS and a Visual Prestige credenza unit from Verco, alongside a wider range of furniture selected to complement the interior.
Each piece contributes to a workplace that balances functionality with character, supporting everything from collaborative working and creative activity to customer-facing spaces. The result is an environment that reflects the attention to detail associated with the Christopher Ward brand.
The project has since received national recognition, winning the British Council for Offices (BCO) National Fit Out of Workplace Award, following its regional success in the South of England and South Wales.
Key project highlights:
🔹 A considered furniture specification – Bringing together products from leading European manufacturers, including Boss Design, Workstories, NARBUTAS and Verco.
🔹 Materials with character – From FSC-certified timber to Camira-upholstered soft seating, the selection combines considered finishes with everyday practicality.
🔹 A workplace built around the business – Supporting the different functions of Christopher Ward’s headquarters, from its design studios and servicing operations to logistics and showroom.
🔹 National award recognition – The completed workplace won the 2026 BCO National Fit Out of Workplace Award, recognising the quality of the wider project.
We’re delighted to have played our part in this award-winning project, working with Curve Workplaces and the wider team to help create a workplace where every detail contributes to the bigger picture.
